1555 Peel & Stick Backing (1.5 oz)
This is a tearaway product with a low tack, pressure sensative adhesive. It is used in hoopless and hard to hoop applications such as collars, edges, cuffs and pockets. Its use can eliminate marks on sensitive materials such as silk and stabilize high stretch and high slip fabrics. Frequently use Durkee's Interchangable Clamping System and Fast Frames.

USE: Excellent backing for light colored, lightweight garments where you do not want the shadow of the backing to be seen from behind the garment.

Light Weight Iron On Fusible

This is a lightweight fusible product. Note: it is important to apply even and ample pressure in order to properly fuse the backing to the material. The fusing temperature is 240º F.
USE: The 240 is terrific for covering exposed stitches on the backside of embroidery.

Heavy Weight Iron On Fusible (270)

This is a heavyweight fusible product. Note: it is important to apply even and ample pressure in order to properly fuse the backing to the material. The fusing temperature is 240º F.
USE: This backing is marvelous for preventing fraying on a patch or an appliqué.

Badge Master-Water Soluble Backing

This backing is translucent and dissolves when it makes contact with water. It is excellent for embroidering lace and fantastic for making emblems.

Heat Seal/Iron On Emblem Film

This product is for fusing emblems and/or patches to garments or bags.
USE: Preheat your iron or heat press to 250º F. The heat seal film is fused to patch by ironing the film onto the backside of the patch. When embroidering this to a patch, us 6315 all polyester cutaway backing (click here for info on 6315.) To fuse, it is important to have the iron make contact with the white contact paper and not the film. After the film is fused to the patch or emblem, then peel back the white contact paper. Apply the patch to the garment with a heat press or iron.
Note: you may wish to use a pressing cloth when applying patch with an iron, the fusing temperature is 250º F, to fuse patches correctly use even and direct pressure all over the emblem.
