FuFu's Thread Co, Ltd.

FuFu , which means 'lucky' or 'good fortune' in Mandarin, is the manufacturer of our rayon and polyester embroidery threads. They have been in business for over 30 years and possess the knowledge and experience required for producing a high-end embroidery thread.

FuFu's operates two production facilities, one in Taiwan and the other is in the Philippines. All phases of the manufacturing process are performed in-house to ensure that thread quality meets AATCC, JIS, and European standards.

IN HOUSE PRODUCTION, QUALITY, AND QUALITY CONTROL
FuFu's produces a high sheen, low tension, lubricated embroidery thread that results in excellent production and magnificent color, adding luster to your finished garments.

FuFu's employees are thoroughly trained on the equipment and internal procedures to maintain their high level of quality. Each cone is coded so that a specific date, machine, and operator can be identified if necessary.

Each new lot of raw material is inspected and tested to make sure that the quality of materials going into production meets FuFu's standards and will result in a quality product. The finished product is also carefully examined.

FuFu's uses an internal lab to test random samples of raw materials and finished cones, for control reasons. They also contract an independent, international lab (Intertak Testing Lab) to measure the quality of their tensile strength and color fastness. Supporting documentation can be provided at the request of customers and prospects.

CONE DESIGN
More than twenty-five years of experience has taught FuFu's quality thread is not the only important component of a production-efficient product. They also consider the design of the cone on which their thread is wound to be fundamental. FuFu's threads are wound on king spools, which have a wide base providing a stable platform for the cone to rest on. The wide base also assists to prevent thread from falling off the cone and wrapping around the thread post, causing thread breaks and loss of production.

FuFu's includes an additional benefit also. FuFu's tapers their cones, from top to bottom, so thread can unwind smoothly from the cone without rubbing against the sides, resulting in fewer chances of thread breaks which increases production and profitability.

Finally FuFu's produces cones, which have "tie-offs" underneath the base of each cone to facilitate thread storage and to reduce thread loss.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
FuFu's commitment to quality includes the safety of our customers and our planet. No environmentally harmful products or carcinogens are utilized in the production of FuFu's threads. All water used to dye thread is properly treated to separate dyestuff from the water used in production. The inert sandy, grit material which remains is used as a land fill substance to help fight erosion on the coastal shores of Taiwan and the Philippines. This information has proven valuable to some customers who market embroidered goods to environmentally conscious organizations and companies.
