NOMEX information:
NOMEX thread is what is considered to be a flame retardant thread. It is the actual yarn used to make the textile for uniforms for fireman, race car drivers, electricians, etc. It was not designed for embroidery, but to meet specification for certain workwear, it is used for this purpose. NOMEX thread will not char at temperatures higher than 675 degrees F.

FuFu's RH Flame Resistant Polyester Embroidery Thread information:
This thread was developed to conform to US CFR 1615/1616 legislation covering the fire resistant fabrics and trims specifically for children's clothing and sleepwear.
The melting point for this thread is 500 degrees F.
